Job Overview

Ziauddin University invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals for the position of Assistant Manager – ERP. This role is based in the Information Technology department at our Clifton campus in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support CMS-ERP integration and interfaces between university systems.
• Analyse business and academic requirements and translate them into ERP technical and functional solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ERP integrations, APIs, interfaces, and data exchange processes.
• Work with Oracle ERP and database environments, including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, queries, and data validation.
• Configure, customise, and enhance ERP modules based on approved requirements.
• Coordinate with the CMS development team on integration requirements, data mapping, business rules, and validations.
• Analyse and resolve technical issues and functional issues and concerns with application-related concerns.
• Support ERP implementation, enhancement, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across CMS, ERP, and other integrated systems.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation, including integration specifications, workflows, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors on ERP development and integration activities.
• Support system performance optimization, improvements, and ongoing ERP maintenance.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer and training sessions for ERP users and IT team members, where required.

Eligibility

Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in ERP technical or techno-functional roles.

Skills Required

• Strong experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL, database queries, stored procedures, and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with ERP modules including FA, Supply Chain, AP, AR, GL, and HRMS.
• Experience in ERP-configuration, API development and consumption, and enterprise application integrations.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis and ERP workflows.
• Experience in ERP implementation, customisation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience in the academic or university sector will be an advantage.
