Procurement Specialist Position at Daanish University

Daanish University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Specialist to establish and manage its procurement function in Islamabad. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and enhancing the efficiency of the university’s procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the procurement function in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes effectively.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle for procurement activities.
  • Ensure adherence to PPRA rules and public sector financial systems.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and attention to detail in all procurement activities.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Public Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience.
  • Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
