Vacancy Details

• Position: Respiratory Therapist

Eligibility

Qualification: BS/Diploma in Respiratory Therapy from a recognized institution.

Experience: 1-3 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory conditions and provide appropriate respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator support.
• Monitor patients’ respiratory status, respond to emergencies, and assist with critical care procedures, including intubation and tracheostomy care when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records, educate patients and families on respiratory care, and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care and ensure the safe operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory assessment and therapeutic interventions.
• Knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols.
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation and airway management.
