Project Manager Position at Rahma Islamic Relief

Rahma Islamic Relief is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead the implementation and coordination of a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project in Sindh, Pakistan. This full-time role involves overseeing project components, managing budgets, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery of all project components, workplans, and budgets.
• Supervise the MEAL Officer, Field/Technical Officer, and Project Finance Officer.
• Own donor reporting including narrative and financial reporting against the results framework.
• Liaise with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Coordinate contracted technical suppliers and consultants against the results framework.
• Oversee sustainable fund governance set-up with relevant stakeholders.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Development Studies, Water Resources, Environmental Management, Social Sciences, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing WASH, water resources, or rural development projects, ideally in Sindh/Tharparkar or a comparable humanitarian context.

Important Terms & Conditions

Successful candidates will demonstrate experience with donor reporting, budget management, and multi-stakeholder coordination across government, community, and technical-contractor relationships. Familiarity with groundwater/WASH interventions and community-based natural-resource management is considered an asset.
