Field / Technical Officer Position at RAHMA Islamic Relief

RAHMA Islamic Relief is actively seeking a dedicated Field / Technical Officer to oversee project implementation in the Tharparkar region of Sindh. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who is willing to travel extensively across various field locations within Tharparkar.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the project staff during baseline survey work and technical site selection.
• Supervise contracted technical suppliers delivering solar pump installation, hand pump retrofit, recharge structures, and rainwater harvesting works.
• Cross-check caretaker field logs monthly and support bi-monthly TDS monitoring.
• Co-sign site handovers with the trained caretaker/community representative confirming each system works.
• Support caretaker and Village Water Committee training and community mobilisation.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/water engineering, environmental science, agriculture, or a related technical field.

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of field experience implementing WASH/water infrastructure in Sindh, ideally in Tharparkar or a comparable arid area.
