Job Overview

Rahma Islamic Relief is seeking a skilled Hydrogeologist to provide specialist expertise and oversee project outcomes in Rawalpindi, Sindh. This full-time position involves designing methodologies and protocols for water quality and hydrogeological assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the hydrogeological baseline methodology and water quality protocols for project and comparison sites.
• Lead technical site selection for projects.
• Provide technical design input and oversight of project infrastructure to ensure hydrogeological suitability.
• Train the Field/Technical Officer and site caretakers on groundwater-level water quality monitoring equipment and protocols.
• Review consolidated monitoring data periodically and contribute technical analysis to the mid-term review.
• Contribute technical inputs to the policy brief and replication toolkit.

Eligibility

Qualifications

• Degree (MSc preferred) in hydrogeology, geology, water-resources engineering or a related field.

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in groundwater assessment and/or managed aquifer recharge in arid or saline environments.
