Job Overview
The Generator Operator will be responsible for monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a DAE in Electrical or Mechanical and 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Watch gauges, computer screens, and alarms for pressure, temperature, or power output changes.
- Routine Maintenance: Clean, oil, and service pumps, motors, generators, and main engines.
- Troubleshooting: Find the cause of sudden breakdowns or system warnings and fix them quickly.
- Record Keeping: Write down fuel use, run times, and repairs in shift.
Qualifications
- DAE in Electrical or Mechanical
Experience
- 4-5 Years of relevant experience
