MAROOF International Hospital is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Biomedical Engineer. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of biomedical equipment and medical gas systems within the hospital.
Vacancy Details
- Position: Assistant Biomedical Engineer
- Qualification: DAE (Biomedical)/DAE (Electronics)/BS in Biomedical Sciences
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing departmental activities.
- Conduct daily rounds to check biomedical equipment, medical gas cylinders, and outlets.
- Perform repair, maintenance, preventive maintenance (PPM), and calibration of biomedical and medical gas equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of workshop, tools, cylinders, and test equipment.
- Ensure required pressure of medical gases is provided to patients.
- Assist in maintenance of air compressors, dryers, manifolds, and flow meters/outlets.
- Maintain records and logbooks for biomedical and medical gas systems.
