Job Description
The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Director General (Legal) at its Head Office in Lahore. This role is crucial for leading and managing the organization’s legal and litigation functions, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and providing strategic legal advice.
Position Overview
As the Director General (Legal), you will oversee all legal matters within the organization, including litigation, contract management, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for representing the company in legal proceedings and advising on various legal issues that may arise.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: LLB (minimum 2nd Division) from a recognized university is mandatory. An LLM or higher law degree from a recognized (preferably foreign) university and enrolment as an Advocate of the High Court/Supreme Court will be preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, legal practice, or legal affairs is required. This should include substantial experience in handling cases before superior courts, with at least 3 years in a senior legal management role.
- Age: Maximum age limit is 45 years on the date of closing of applications.
