Islamic Banking Operations Unit Head Position

Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited is inviting applications for the position of Unit Head – Islamic Banking Operations. This role is crucial for overseeing the operations of Islamic Banking Branches and Windows, ensuring compliance, and providing leadership within the bank.

Job Overview

The Unit Head will be responsible for managing all functions related to the opening, relocation, and closure of Islamic Banking Branches and Windows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in banking operations and a strong understanding of Islamic finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions related to the opening, relocation, and closure of Islamic Banking Branches and Windows.
• Review observations from Compliance, Shariah Compliance, and Audit departments.
• Provide technical and operational leadership to Regional and Branch Management.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Islamic Banking Group and other departments.
• Facilitate and monitor the end-to-end processing of Islamic financing facilities.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) to resolve daily operational affairs.
• Contribute to staff training and human resource development.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum 08 years of professional experience in banking operations, Islamic Banking Windows (IBWs), or branch management.
• Qualification: Minimum Bachelor degree from HEC recognized Institute/University (National/International).
• Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on closing date to apply.
• Gender: Any Gender.
