Namal University Mianwali is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to provide strategic and operational leadership for the University Library and its services. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the University Library and its services.
• Develop and implement library policies, procedures, systems, and services aligned with University requirements and applicable standards.
• Manage library resources, including books, journals, digital databases, e-resources, and scholarly materials.
• Facilitate access to digital libraries, research databases, and academic information resources for students, faculty, and researchers.
• Supervise library staff, allocate responsibilities, evaluate performance, and ensure effective utilization of library facilities and resources.
• Lead modernization, automation, digitization, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a professional, conducive, and student-friendly learning environment.

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• PhD from an HEC-recognized University/Degree Awarding Institute, preferably in Library Sciences, with eight years of teaching or administrative experience at a high level (Class-I Officer or above) in a University or Education Department.
• OR MS/MPhil or equivalent degree in Library Science with ten years of teaching or administrative experience at a high level (equivalent to Class-I Officer or above) in a University or Education Department.
