Job Description
Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges is seeking a dedicated and experienced Curriculum & Assessment Developer Fellow in Social Science to join our team in Islamabad. This role is pivotal in leading the design and improvement of the K-8 Social Science curriculum, ensuring that our educational offerings meet the highest standards.
Position Overview
The Curriculum & Assessment Developer Fellow will be responsible for developing and enhancing the curriculum for Social Sciences, focusing on subjects such as History, Geography, and International Relations. This position requires a strong background in education and a passion for teaching, along with the ability to work collaboratively with educators and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and improve the K-8 Social Science curriculum.
- Develop assessments that align with curriculum objectives.
- Provide instructional coaching and support to teachers.
- Conduct teacher training sessions to enhance instructional practices.
- Collaborate with academic leaders to ensure curriculum alignment with national and international standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, International Relations, Education, or a closely related discipline.
- Master’s degree preferred in History, Geography, International Relations, or a related M. Phil., or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant teaching experience in Social Sciences at the primary or middle school level.
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, assessment development, teacher training, or academic leadership is highly preferred.
- Experience working with national and/or international curricula is an advantage.
