About Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC)

The Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) is a not-for-profit organization established in 2005 under the directive of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. It aims to enhance technology and skill development in key industrial sectors through public-private partnerships. TUSDEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) and focuses on establishing Technology Upgradation Centers and Common Facility Centers to facilitate technology acquisition and skill development initiatives. The organization is funded by the Government of Pakistan and operates with a vision to connect Pakistan to the global value chain.
