Job Overview

The Account Officer will be responsible for managing payable accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is crucial for the smooth financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post, and verify payment vouchers, accruals, and income entries in the ERP system.
• Review expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies and approvals.
• Process inter-location cash transfers and manage payable settlements.
• Perform regular cash and vendor reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate payable balances and prepare required financial reports.
• Assist in monthly payroll processing, tax deposits, and attendance management.
• Handle provident fund, pension records, and employee reimbursements as per policy.
• Support documentation, record-keeping, and other accounting/administrative tasks as assigned.

Eligibility

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
