Accounts Officer Position at International Packaging Films Limited

International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) is seeking a dedicated Accounts Officer for its Lahore site, located at Manga Chowk, Raiwind Bypass. This role is essential for managing day-to-day finance activities at the factory, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily factory cash requirements and process routine cash transactions within approved limits.
• Handle cash/payment transactions per day, ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation.
• Maintain daily cash records and perform cash reconciliation.
• Verify and process electricity, gas, water, telephone, and other utility bills within defined weekly review.
• Maintain a utility bill tracker and ensure timely submission/payment to avoid late fees or service disruptions.
• Record cash payments and other assigned transactions accurately in the accounting/ERP system.
• Ensure proper documentation, account coding, and filing of all factory-related expenses.
• Coordinate and participate in monthly physical stock counts, reconcile physical quantities with system records, and report variances.
• Assist with finance departments and Head Office Finance for approvals, payments, and audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, approval limits, and internal controls.

Eligibility

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.
