Accounts Officer Position at International Packaging Films Limited

International Packaging Films Limited is seeking an Accounts Officer for its Lahore site. This role is crucial for managing day-to-day finance activities at the factory, focusing on cash management, routine payments, utility bill processing, stock count activities, and providing basic accounting support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily factory cash requirements and process routine cash transactions within approved limits.
  • Handle cash/payment transactions per day, ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain daily cash records and perform cash reconciliation.
  • Receive, verify, and process electricity, gas, water, telephone, and other utility bills within defined weekly timelines.
  • Maintain a utility bill tracker and ensure timely submission/payment to avoid late fees or service disruption.
  • Record cash payments and other assigned transactions accurately in the accounting/ERP system.
  • Ensure proper documentation, conduct, and filing of all factory-related expenses.
  • Coordinate and participate in monthly physical stock counts, reconciling physical quantities with system records.
  • Coordinate with factory departments and Office Finance for approvals, payments, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, approval limits, and internal controls.

Eligibility

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/factory environment.
