Beaconhouse National University is seeking a proactive individual for the position of Manager Career Development and Alumni Relations. This role is essential in providing career guidance and fostering relationships with industry partners to enhance job placement opportunities for students and alumni.

Key Responsibilities

  • Career Counseling & Guidance: Provide tailored career advice to students and alumni across various disciplines, addressing industry-specific trends and employment opportunities.
  • Industry Engagement & Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, corporate employers, NGOs, and creative enterprises to create job placement and internship opportunities for students.
  • Alumni Relations: Develop programs to engage alumni from all BNU departments, fostering a network that supports mentorship, job referrals, and career development.
  • Job Placement & Internship Programs: Collaborate with employers to design internship programs and recruit BNU graduates, ensuring alignment with industry needs.
  • Workshops & Career Events: Organize job fairs, networking sessions, and skill-building workshops to enhance students’ employability.
  • Resource Development: Create career resources, including CV writing guides, interview preparation materials, and job search strategies.
  • Collaboration with Faculty: Work with faculty members to integrate industry insights into academic programs.

Eligibility

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or Career Development.

Experience

  • Proven ability in career services, alumni relations, corporate partnerships, and job placement.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Training experience.
  • Understanding of career pathways in areas such as media, IT, and finance.
