Position Overview

The Deputy Manager Curriculum & Training will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Early Years curriculum in alignment with UCS standards and best practices. This position requires a strong background in Early Childhood Education and significant experience in educational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Monitor the implementation of Early Years policies, academic plans, lesson planning, and learning resources across campuses.
  • Identify gaps through regular monitoring and provide actionable feedback, coaching, and follow-up support to teachers, coordinators, and School Heads.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring tools, observation frameworks, and quality standards to ensure consistency across UCS campuses.
  • Support schools in creating nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environments for young learners.
  • Provide academic guidance and professional support to the Early Years team.
  • Conduct training, workshops, and coaching to enhance teaching quality and classroom practices.
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams to develop and improve resources, lesson plans, and learning materials.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in Early Childhood Education and recommend innovative approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with schools and promote a culture of continuous monitoring, collaboration, and improvement.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in Early Years education, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or coordination role.
