Elite Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a qualified Planning Engineer – Mechanical to join our Head Office in Lahore. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management, particularly within the oil & gas, process plants, power, or heavy industrial construction sectors.
Position Overview
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating detailed master schedules for mechanical works, including equipment erection, piping, tankage, and plant commissioning. The successful candidate will utilize tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project to ensure project timelines are met and resources are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed master schedules for mechanical works.
- Monitor site progress and evaluate critical paths for mechanical completion.
- Implement corrective actions for variances in project schedules.
- Generate accurate look-ahead schedules and productivity metrics.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, mechanical site engineers, QA/QC, and subcontractors.
- Align planning data with procurement and manufacturing milestones.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience
Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of proven planning, scheduling, and project control experience.
