Job Overview
The Finance Officer will be responsible for operating the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to support document, ledgers, and subledger retrieval. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, along with relevant experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the power sector.
Responsibilities
- Operate Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) for supporting document, ledgers, and subledger retrieval.
- Maintain both physical and electronic archives of accounting records.
- Ensure strict control over sensitive financial and payment records.
- Identify and correct mismatches between physical records and payment entries.
Eligibility
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Affiliation with a recognized professional accounting body or a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
- More than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or the power sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is a must.
- Ability to organize, file, and retrieve physical accounting records systematically.
- Knowledge of retention schedules and regulatory requirements.
