Job Overview
SJS International is seeking a qualified Financial Controller to lead the finance function at our Head Office located in Quaid e Azam Industrial Estate, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the FMCG sector and a strong background in finance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete finance function of the organization and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly & annual financial closing in line with IFRS and Group policies.
- Lead cost accounting, including ABC, standard costing, variance analysis & product margins.
- Oversee inventory valuation, stock controls, working capital & CAPEX management.
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts & monthly MIS reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Pakistani tax laws, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, FBR & applicable SEZ/customs regulations.
- Strengthen internal controls and coordinate statutory, tax & Group audits.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement & Sourcing teams for financial decision-making.
- Lead and develop the finance team while driving ERP and process improvements.
Eligibility
Qualifications
- CA / ACCA / CMA qualified or CA Finalist; MBA will be an advantage.
Experience
- 6-8+ years of progressive finance experience, including 2-3 years in manufacturing/plant finance or cost accounting leadership.
