Daanish University, located in Islamabad, is seeking a qualified IT Systems Specialist to oversee its IT infrastructure, networks, and digital systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and management of the university’s technological resources.

Position Overview

The IT Systems Specialist will be responsible for managing the university’s IT systems and ensuring that all digital operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management and a proven track record of working on large-scale projects, particularly in the public sector or donor-funded environments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Maximum 55 years
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressive IT Management experience.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

  • Large-scale or university projects
  • ERP, PMIS, or other digital governance systems
  • Public sector or donor-funded projects
  • Knowledge of public-sector procurement and governance practices
  • Strategic IT planning and digital transformation
  • Project management and systems integration
  • Cybersecurity and risk management
