Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and vet a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, notices, legal opinions, and correspondence.
- Provide legal support to the General Counsel across litigation, corporate advisory, governance, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare concise, practical legal memoranda for management and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal and compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
What We’re Looking For
- LL. B. degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
- L. L. M. or Bar-at-Law qualification will be considered an added advantage.
- 2-4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with exposure to corporate legal matters, compliance, or commercial transactions.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, research, and communication skills.
