Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other blood collection procedures efficiently and safely.
• Ensure accurate labeling, handling, and processing of specimens.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Provide compassionate care to patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
• Work collaboratively with lab technicians and medical staff to ensure timely and accurate test results.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Conduct timely visits to wards for inpatient sample collection.

Requirements

• Minimum Intermediate (Science).
• Diploma in Phlebotomy is preferable.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience working in a tertiary care hospital.
• Proficient in blood collection techniques and specimen handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to quality and patient care.
• Strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
