Job Overview
Charcoal is hiring for the position of Sr. Assistant Manager Quality at their Head Office located at 18 KM Ferozepur Road, Attari Saroba, Near Pak Arab Society, Lahore. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards before reaching the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect imported fabrics from international suppliers to ensure compliance with company quality standards before production.
- Implement quality checkpoints across cutting, stitching, finishing, pressing, and packaging stages.
- Monitor garment quality delivered to retail outlets and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Inspect returned garments due to defects or damage and determine whether they should be repaired, reprocessed, or returned to vendors.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Ensure compliance with international menswear standards, buyer requirements, company SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Lead, train, and supervise the QA/QC team to ensure effective implementation of quality standards.
- Conduct quality audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects.
- Prepare detailed quality reports covering production quality, supplier compliance, retail feedback, defects, and vendor returns for management review.
Eligibility
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience
Applicants should have 5-7 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the garment or textile industry.
