Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited is inviting applications for the position of Resident Shariah Board Member (RSBM) at its Head Office in Islamabad. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with Shariah principles in banking operations.

Eligibility

The maximum age limit to apply is 62 years as of the closing date.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • Shahadat ul Aalamiyyah Degree (Dars e Nizami) or a similar degree from a recognized institution/Board of Madaris along with a Bachelor’s Degree (which is other than the Madaris Degree).
  • Post Graduate Degree in Kuliyaatush Shariah (Shariah) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

Experience

Applicants should have:

  • At least four years of experience in giving Shariah rulings, including the period of Takhasuss fil Ifta.
  • Alternatively, at least five years of post-qualification experience in teaching or Research and Development in Islamic Banking and Finance.

Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Islamic jurisprudence
  • Shariah compliance
  • Islamic finance
  • Research and Development
  • Teaching
