Eligibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Psychology (Counselling, Clinical, Educational, Developmental or related fields)
• Master’s in Psychology preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant counselling experience, preferably in an educational setting

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counselling sessions (Grades 6 to A Levels/IBDP) to address stress, anxiety, bullying, and related wellbeing concerns.
• Implement students risk assessment and safety planning protocols in accordance with school policy.
• Guide students in developing self-awareness, resilience, and healthy coping strategies.
• Lead and support pre-emptive wellbeing initiatives, including anti-bullying programmes and EQ training in classrooms.
• Partner with Sports, Arts, and Sustainability departments to embed wellbeing practices across the school.
• Maintain accurate, confidential counselling records and respond in line with Beaconhouse Wellbeing Policy.

Skills Required

• Strong grounding in counselling methodologies and adolescent development.
• Sound knowledge of crisis intervention and suicide prevention protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in data management and report-building systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and digital record-keeping systems.
