Job Description
As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you will prepare and maintain production and material requirement plans based on sales demand and inventory levels. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with Sales, Production, and Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitoring inventory levels, stock coverage, shortages, and excess/slow-moving inventory.
- Developing and monitoring Material Requirements Planning (MRP) through SAP/ERP.
- Preparing production and supply planning reports and highlighting potential supply risks.
- Following up on purchase orders and material delivery schedules.
- Supporting demand forecasting, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
- Maintaining accurate planning data, master data, and inventory records.
- Identifying opportunities to improve inventory optimization, service level, and supply chain efficiency.
- Ensuring planning activities support the company’s cost, quality, delivery, and customer-service objectives.
