The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is inviting applications for Trainee Executive positions in various disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates looking to start their careers in a reputable organization.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Master/Bachelor degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or an equivalent degree from an institute recognized by HEC and PEC for engineering degrees.
  • Bar-at-Law / LLM / LLB / LLB (Hons) from a recognized university in Pakistan or abroad for legal positions.
  • CA(Inter) / ICMA(Inter) / MBA-Finance / BBA-Finance (Hons-16 years) from a recognized university in Pakistan or abroad for finance positions.

Experience

This position is open to fresh graduates. However, candidates with 1-2 years of relevant working experience may be given preference.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years.

Terms & Conditions

Trainees will be employed on a contract basis with fixed monthly emoluments for a period of one year, which is extendable for another year based on satisfactory performance. There is no commitment for regular appointment at any time.

No TA/DA will be admissible for candidates attending the test/interview.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates should download the application form from the OGRA website (www.ogra.org.pk). Submit a typed copy of the form along with a passport-sized photograph, attested copies of academic certificates/degrees, experience certificates (if any), CNIC, and domicile certificate. Applications should be sent to the HR Department, OGRA Head Office, Islamabad by post mail, and must reach by 04-09-2026.

Provincial quota will be observed. Candidates working in government/semi-government/autonomous bodies/semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, etc., should apply through the official application method provided with this vacancy. If selected, they will have to resign from their current posts/organizations before joining OGRA.
