Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited is inviting applications for the position of Head Treasury Division. This is a senior role that requires extensive experience in the banking sector, specifically in treasury functions.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively managing and overseeing the functions and activities of the Treasury Division of the Bank by deploying appropriate resources.
  • Contributing to asset liability management of the bank by ensuring that the liquidity position remains sound and cost-effective.
  • Forecasting cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds availability for investment and liquidity management.
  • Monitoring and overseeing the dealing room activities ensuring compliance with approved risk parameters.
  • Driving and achieving trading, investment, and treasury sales targets through effective fund management.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and guidelines issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.
  • Developing and maintaining a system of policies and procedures for treasury activities.
  • Managing the bank’s investment portfolio and financial products.
  • Representing the bank in various associations and meetings.
  • Managing the bank’s foreign exchange operations and hedging currency and interest rate risks.
  • Preparing and presenting treasury reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Acting as Treasury Advisor for significant aspects impacting Asset-Liability management.
  • Performing any other tasks assigned by the CEO or ALCO.

Eligibility Criteria

The maximum age limit to apply is 60 years on the closing date. The contract will be for a maximum of 5 years, extendable up to 65 years. Candidates convicted by any court of law or dismissed on disciplinary grounds by previous employers are not eligible to apply.
