Head of Equity at NBP Funds

NBP Funds is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Head of Equity at our Head Office in Karachi. This role is pivotal in leading our equity investment function, overseeing research, analysis, and portfolio management of all equity funds and mandates across our multi-asset platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute equity investment strategy in line with business objectives and market outlook.
• Manage equity portfolios and mandates, ensuring optimal sector and stock selection based on research.
• Lead and manage the equity research and portfolio management teams to ensure high performance.
• Oversee equity research, ensuring in-depth sectoral and company-specific analysis.
• Identify investment opportunities, economic analysis, industry and market intelligence.
• Monitor portfolio risk and performance, ensuring adherence to maintain targeted risk-return profiles.
• Collaborate with the CIO and equity senior management on asset allocation and new product ideas.
• Ensure all investment activities comply with SECP regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Represent the firm in Investment Committee meetings and client/stakeholder engagements.

Eligibility

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualification: Master’s degree (MBA) or professional qualifications such as CFA, CA, or ACCA highly preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in equity research and fund/portfolio management.
