Asim Jofa is seeking an experienced Finance Head to lead the Finance & Accounts function, responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and overall financial control.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts department.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and payables.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
  • Oversee taxation matters, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Monitor banking activities, bank facilities, loans, and other financial arrangements.
  • Review customer receivables and outstanding balances and ensure effective collection.
  • Review vendor payments and ensure proper payment controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for business decisions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
  • Monitor financial risks and implement appropriate risk-control measures.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
  • Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders.

Eligibility

Qualification: CA / ACCA / MBA Finance / M. Com / BBA Finance or equivalent qualification
Experience: 8-12+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts; Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial or senior finance position.
Preferred Experience: Experience in retail, fashion, manufacturing, or FMCG industry will be an advantage.
