UNICOL Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Officer for Taxation to join their Head Office in Karachi. This role is crucial for managing the company’s tax compliance and ensuring adherence to all relevant tax regulations.
Position Overview
The Senior Officer Taxation will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tax compliance and related matters. This includes preparing and reviewing various tax returns, ensuring timely deposits of withholding taxes, and maintaining accurate tax records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day tax compliance and related matters.
- Prepare and review income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other applicable tax returns.
- Ensure timely deposit and reconciliation of withholding taxes.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
- Assist in tax planning and provide support on tax-related matters.
- Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial tax regulations.
- Prepare reports and reconciliations for management review.
Qualifications
- MBA Finance
- ACCA
- ICMA
Experience
Candidates should have 3-4 years of relevant experience in taxation.
